Team supervision

Group supervision is a tool for professionals who interact with the public, such as social workers, health professionals, educational teams or nonprofit organizations. It enables professionals to take a step back from their everyday activities, to express their feelings, to understand what is at stake in certain problematic situations.

The group meets once a month. It is structured in a series of speaking times: one person presents a situation, the group asks questions, then makes hypotheses. That way everyone can express themselves without fearing the others judgments or hasty interpretations.

My role as coordinator is to guarantee a secure setting and encourage the groups psychic elaboration. I draw on my combined training in psychoanalysis an systemics, in order to analyse what is being acted out both individually and on the team level..
